The Meteorology Department of the Ministry of Transport and Aviation of the Islamic Emirate has issued a warning about the possibility of heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, strong winds, and flash floods in 24 provinces.
This warning is for today (Monday, 10 Hamal / 30 March) and covers the provinces of Nuristan, Kunar, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kapisa, Panjshir, Parwan, Baghlan, Samangan, Balkh, Takhar, Badakhshan, Kunduz, Kabul, Maidan Wardak, Logar, Paktia, Khost, Paktika, Ghazni, Uruzgan, Daikundi, Bamyan, and Ghor.
Rainfall amounts in these provinces are expected to range between 10 and 45 mm, with winds blowing at speeds of 50–75 km/h in eastern areas. In addition, heavy snowfall is also possible in high-altitude and cold regions.
