The agency reported that since the start of the war in October 2023, more than 38,000 women and girls have been killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes and ground operations.
According to the report, this figure includes around 22,000 women and 16,000 girls, with an average of at least 47 women and girls killed daily in Israeli attacks.
The UN Women’s division also noted that nearly 11,000 women and girls have been injured, many of whom are facing permanent disabilities.
