Officials of the textile factory in Pul-e Khumri city, Baghlan province, say that the factory has expanded its production activities and is continuously maintaining the production of cotton fabric. According to factory authorities, around two thousand meters of cotton fabric are produced, processed, and dyed every day.
The director of the factory, Hafiz Mohammad Isa Bilal, says that all stages of fabric production are completed inside the factory, from weaving to bleaching, processing, and dyeing. He adds that this process has not only improved the quality of production but has also created conditions for responding quickly to market demand.
He further states that efforts are ongoing to modernize the factory and increase its production capacity in order to play a greater role in the country’s industrial development. According to officials, the high quality of textile products has also increased market demand for them.
Meanwhile, economic experts say that the activity of such production factories is an important step toward strengthening domestic industry, increasing job opportunities, and reducing imports.
