Bangladeshi authorities have announced that at least 14 people have been killed following lightning strikes in several parts of the country.
Reuters reported today that sudden storms accompanied by heavy rainfall and lightning across several provinces of Bangladesh have caused significant damage.
According to local officials, most of the victims were farmers working in open fields.
