The Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Afghanistan has announced that a coordination meeting and lottery session were held to select interested companies for the 10th China–South Asia International Expo.

According to the ministry, the meeting was attended by Janat Gul Akhund and Qabil Mohammad Abid.

Officials said that around 72 booths have been allocated for Afghanistan in this exhibition, with 45 companies participating as exhibitors and 4 others attending as visitors.

The 10th China–South Asia International Expo is scheduled to take place from June 11 to 16, 2026, in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China.

Afghanistan’s participation will include sectors such as carpets, handicrafts, dried fruits, precious and semi-precious stones, jewelry, and saffron.

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce emphasized that such exhibitions are an important opportunity to promote Afghan domestic products and expand export markets.
