The Ministry of Transport and Aviation has announced that during the year 1404, it installed and activated 21 advanced meteorological devices worth 8.5 million Afghanis at international and domestic airports and in several provinces.
According to the ministry, the cost of this project was covered by the national budget, and its aim is to improve weather forecasting and enhance aviation services.
Based on available information, there are currently 84 advanced and manual meteorological devices operating across different parts of the country, which are being used for weather forecasting purposes.
