Lebanon’s Ministry of Health has announced that at least 41 people have been killed in the past 24 hours following Israeli attacks on parts of the country.
The news network Al Jazeera reported that since the start of the latest wave of clashes between Hezbollah and Israel on March 2, a total of 2,659 people have been killed in Lebanon.
According to statistics from Lebanon’s Ministry of Health, during this period another 8,183 people have been injured, and more than one million have been displaced.
Israel continues to violate the ceasefire that began on April 17 and was later extended until mid-May.
Israeli officials claim that their attacks target Hezbollah positions, but reports indicate that many of the victims are civilians.
