Iran’s Foreign Minister has met with his Chinese counterpart during a visit to China to discuss regional tensions, particularly the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and efforts to maintain a ceasefire.
Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, met today in Beijing with Wang Yi, China’s Foreign Minister.
According to Chinese state media, the meeting has begun, but no further details about the content of the talks have been released.
Based on an Al Jazeera report, the main focus of the discussions is the maintenance of the ceasefire, as well as the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.
