According to a report by the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal, the United Arab Emirates secretly carried out military attacks against Iran.
The report states that the attacks included a strike on an oil refinery facility on Lavan Island in the Persian Gulf, which caused a large fire and damaged the refinery’s operations.
Iran had earlier stated that the facilities were targeted in an “enemy attack.” In response, Iran reportedly launched missile and drone attacks against the UAE and Kuwait.
