These strikes, which had not been previously reported, are described as the first known instance of direct military action by Saudi Arabia inside Iranian territory.
Reuters said that, although it cannot independently verify the specific targets of these strikes, the report indicates that the attacks were carried out by the Saudi Air Force in late March.
