Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has announced that he is in no rush to reach an agreement with Iran, and that the US naval blockade against Iranian ships in the Strait of Hormuz will continue until the final agreement is signed. He said both sides should proceed with the negotiations “carefully and patiently.”

On Sunday, Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social that he has instructed American representatives to continue talks without haste. He emphasized that the blockade of Iranian ships in the Strait of Hormuz will remain in place until the agreement is “approved and signed.”

The Tasnim News Agency, which is close to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), reported that the US is still making excuses on some key issues, including Tehran’s demand for the release of Iran’s frozen assets in foreign banks.
