The Afghan government says that after China assumed responsibility for the Afghanistan file at the United Nations Security Council, it can review issues related to Afghanistan in a neutral and realistic manner.
Spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said that China is familiar with the regional situation and maintains good relations with Afghanistan.
Previously, the UN Security Council announced that China would take the lead in consultations and in drafting resolutions related to Afghanistan.
