Washington – U.S. President Donald Trump has rejected a CNN report about a draft nuclear agreement with Iran, saying that the agreement clearly and in detail addresses Tehran’s nuclear issues.
In a post on the social media platform “Truth Social,” Trump wrote that CNN had incorrectly reported that his proposed deal with Iran made no reference to the country’s nuclear program.
He emphasized: “The agreement explicitly states that Iran will not obtain nuclear weapons.” According to Trump, a large part of the agreement is dedicated to issues related to the nuclear program, and its details are “very strong and extensive.”
The U.S. president also criticized CNN’s performance, accusing the network of publishing “false news.” He further expressed doubt about the future and ability of the outlet to restore its credibility, referring to its new ownership.
