Hezbollah has announced that it conducted 13 attacks against Israeli forces in southern Lebanon, targeting sites such as gatherings of soldiers, military vehicles, and army command posts.
Al Jazeera reported today that Hezbollah forces used rocket artillery, artillery fire, guided missiles, and attack drones to strike positions and respond to the advance of Israeli forces.
The operations reportedly included intense clashes in several key areas of southern Lebanon where Israeli forces had infiltrated.
Hezbollah added that in the areas of Hadatha and al-Balu’, several Israeli Merkava tanks were targeted and a military vehicle was destroyed by an explosive device, an action that reportedly forced Israeli forces to halt their advance and withdraw under cover of Israeli Air Force strikes.
