Israel has continued its large-scale attacks in various parts of Lebanon, including areas near the capital, Beirut, resulting in the deaths of nine people and injuring several others.
Al Jazeera reported today that Israel targeted multiple regions in its latest strikes, among the victims of which were emergency responders, healthcare workers, and members of Lebanon’s security forces.
Despite a ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Hezbollah in mid-April, clashes between the two sides continue. Both parties have accused each other of violating the ceasefire and have justified their attacks based on alleged breaches by the other side.
According to Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health, since the escalation of Israeli attacks on Lebanon on March 2 this year, 3,516 people have been killed and 10,674 others injured.
