The acting head of Afghanistan’s embassy in Iran, Mawlawi Fazl Mohammad Haqqani, held talks with the Chief Justice of Iran, Jafar Montazeri, regarding the problems faced by Afghan refugees and prisoners.
The Afghan embassy said that the issue of Afghan traders’ frozen bank accounts was also discussed during the meeting.
According to the source, both sides emphasized the expansion of bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Iran, as well as cooperation in resolving shared challenges.
