Despite the signing of a U.S.-brokered framework for implementing a ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel, Israeli forces have continued carrying out strikes in Lebanon. According to Al Jazeera, the ongoing attacks have raised concerns about the security situation in Lebanon and the effective implementation of the ceasefire.
Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian criticized what he described as the international community’s silence regarding Israel’s actions. He said that Iran’s new leadership is committed to strengthening unity, coordination, and a common position among Islamic countries.
Pezeshkian emphasized that closer cooperation and collective efforts among Islamic nations are essential to resolving regional conflicts.
