The process of arrests and forced deportations of Afghan refugees has intensified in Pakistan. Police in Punjab province said that they arrested more than 50 Afghan refugees from different areas yesterday and transferred them to refugee holding centers.
According to police, those arrested include individuals holding Afghan Citizenship Cards (ACC), who will be sent back to Afghanistan from the centers. Police added that family members of the detained individuals will also be arrested and transferred to temporary camps.
