The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has announced that 638 Afghan citizens have been released from prisons in Pakistan.
The ministry wrote on X today (Thursday, 18 Saratan) that these individuals returned to Afghanistan during the current week through the Spin Boldak border crossing in Kandahar and the Torkham border crossing in Nangarhar.
According to the ministry, these people had been detained in Pakistan due to not having valid residency documents. Previously, a number of Afghan citizens had also returned to Afghanistan after being released from Pakistani prisons.
