At least 15 Indian tourists have been killed after a tourist boat capsized near Phu Quoc Island in southern Vietnam.

According to local authorities, the boat was carrying 32 Indian tourists and four crew members at the time of the accident. Following the incident, 21 people were rescued.

The exact cause of the capsizing has not yet been determined.

The Indian Embassy in Hanoi said rescue operations are ongoing and that dedicated assistance centers have been established in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to coordinate support for the victims’ families.
