has announced that the country’s Aerospace Force targeted U.S. air bases in Kuwait.
In a statement issued early Monday (22 Saratan), the IRGC said the attacks were carried out as part of the third phase of the “Eye for an Eye” operation, in response to U.S. military actions against Iran.
The statement said that fuel storage facilities and Patriot air defense systems at Ali Al Salem Air Base, as well as a strategic radar system at Ahmad Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait, were targeted and destroyed during the attacks.
Meanwhile, Iran’s military has announced that drone attacks against U.S. bases in the region will continue. In a statement, the military said Iranian armed forces would use all available capabilities to defend the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, independence, and citizens against any further aggression.
Tensions between Iran and the United States have increased in recent days, with both countries targeting each other’s positions.
