Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that it targeted U.S. military facilities and infrastructure in Bahrain and Oman with missile and drone attacks.
In a statement issued today (Monday, 22 Saratan), the IRGC said the strikes on U.S. positions in Bahrain and Oman were carried out during the fifth phase of Iran’s retaliatory military operation against the United States.
According to the IRGC, radar systems deployed in Oman were completely destroyed during the attacks. Iran had earlier also claimed that it had destroyed U.S. air bases in Kuwait.
The latest round of hostilities between Iran and the United States began after three commercial vessels were reportedly targeted in the Strait of Hormuz and following U.S. strikes on Iran’s southern coast.
