The U.S. military has announced the completion of its latest wave of strikes against Iran, while Iran claims it has carried out fresh attacks on U.S. military facilities in Kuwait and Jordan.
According to reports, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a statement on Thursday that, during the latest phase of its operation, it struck designated targets in Bandar Abbas and several other locations across Iran using precision-guided munitions.
The statement said the operation targeted Iran’s command centers, air defense systems, missile and drone capabilities, as well as coastal surveillance facilities.
Meanwhile, the Iranian military said it had launched drone attacks on U.S. military bases in Kuwait and Jordan.
Iranian media also reported that, during the ninth phase of Operation “Sa’eqeh,” Iranian forces destroyed U.S. military communication systems and fuel storage facilities in Jordan several hours earlier.
