Health officials in Palestine have announced that at least 11 people were killed and several others injured in Israeli attacks on parts of the Gaza Strip.
According to international media reports published today (Sunday, July 19), the victims were killed in Israeli military strikes carried out yesterday across various areas of Gaza.
The Gaza Civil Defense said that five members of the same family were among those killed in the attacks.
Despite the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas that came into effect in October last year, Israeli attacks on Palestinians have continued. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, since the ceasefire began, 1,150 Palestinians have been killed and more than 3,000 others have been injured.
