The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that the ninth consecutive night of military attacks by the United States against Iran has ended.
In a statement posted today on its account on X, CENTCOM said that the strikes targeted Iranian military command centers, air and coastal defense sites, naval capabilities, missile and drone launch locations, and communication networks.
The command emphasized that the objective of these attacks was to further reduce Iran’s ability to target commercial vessels and civilian sailors passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
CENTCOM also said that the operation was carried out on the orders of Donald Trump, the Commander-in-Chief of the United States, and that its forces remain on full alert and are prepared to continue operations.
