Ukrainian authorities have announced that at least six people were killed and 47 others injured following Russian missile and drone attacks on parts of the country.
Al Jazeera reported today that Russia targeted the cities of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv in the attacks.
Ukraine’s Air Force also stated that Russia launched seven ballistic missiles and 136 drones toward Ukraine during overnight strikes.
The United Nations had previously reported that during the first six months of 2026, a total of 1,396 civilians were killed and 7,978 others injured in Ukraine as a result of Russian attacks.
