Kamaluddin Tawhid, Chairman of the Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce, attended a conference in Iran’s Alborz Province titled “Opportunities for Economic Cooperation with Afghanistan Under the New Conditions” during his official visit to Iran. The event was also attended by Parviz Heydari, CEO of the Chamber.
According to the Chamber, Tawhid highlighted the long-standing relations between Afghanistan and Iran, saying the time has come to move beyond traditional trade and focus on joint investment projects.
He added that Afghanistan has created favorable conditions for foreign investment and encouraged Iranian investors to seize the available opportunities by launching joint economic projects in the country.
