Nepali authorities say at least 270 people have died and more than 1,000 others remain missing following devastating floods in the country.
According to Nepalese police, rescue operations are ongoing following yesterday’s floods.
Nepal’s Home Minister Sudan Gurung said the main focus of the rescue operations remains finding survivors.
Officials say around 100 Indian nationals, most of them pilgrims, and 25 Chinese workers are missing in the Trishuli area, one of the worst-affected regions.
Authorities say more than 650 foreign nationals remain missing.
