The Embassy of Afghanistan in Pakistan says it has raised the issue of the auction of properties belonging to a number of Afghan refugees in the Chakwal area of Punjab province with the relevant Pakistani authorities.
The embassy added that a delegation visited Chakwal on Friday and inspected the properties of Afghan refugees firsthand.
The embassy delegation also discussed with local officials possible legal solutions to the issue.
According to the embassy, local authorities have assured the delegation of their cooperation, and the matter is currently under monitoring and follow-up.
