The Israeli military has claimed in a statement that it carried out extensive strikes on Hezbollah targets in several areas of southern Lebanon.
In the statement, the Israeli military said that on Sunday it targeted Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon which, according to the military, were used by Hezbollah fighters to launch suicide drones and anti-tank missiles.
The statement said the Israeli military would continue its operations to eliminate threats.
The Israeli military warned that any use of force from Lebanese territory that causes harm to Israeli civilians or military personnel would face a strong response.
The Israeli military added that the strikes were carried out last night following a drone attack by Hezbollah against Israeli forces in southern Lebanon.
So far, Hezbollah has not released full details regarding the Israeli military’s claims.
