Ali Mohammadi, the political deputy of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, has said that if the United States launches another war against Iran, Iran will attack U.S. warships, even in the Indian Ocean.
Fars News Agency reported the remarks today, Sunday, September 27, quoting Mohammadi.
Mohammadi also reiterated Iran’s control and management of the Strait of Hormuz, saying that if the U.S. president considers the strait to belong to the United States, American ships and vessels are not present there.
Meanwhile, Abolfazl Shekarchi, a senior spokesperson for Iran’s Armed Forces, warned that any U.S. intervention in the Strait of Hormuz would face a strong response from Iran.
