According to officials at the Kunduz Department of Agriculture, this project is funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock and was inaugurated with the presence of officials and a number of farmers.

Mawlawi Mihrabuddin Bilal stated that once completed, the dam will irrigate more than 1,000 jeribs of agricultural land in the Char Dara district. He added that, in addition to improving agricultural products, this project will alleviate water scarcity issues for local farmers.

He also emphasized that the Gol-Bagh Dam project will not only have a positive impact on agricultural production but will also create direct and indirect employment opportunities for 2,000 people.

It is worth mentioning that farmers and local residents have welcomed the commencement of the project, stating that its completion could bring a positive transformation to their agricultural and livelihood conditions.
