The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has stated that since the beginning of the current solar year, Afghanistan has exported 1,100 tons of pine nuts to several countries until the end of Dalwa.
Spokesperson for the Ministry, Akhundzada Abdul Salam Jawad, stated that over the past 11 months, Afghanistan has exported pine nuts to Austria, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States, Italy, Australia, Germany, Pakistan, Turkey, China, and several other countries.
One month ago, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce announced that in order to support pine nut traders, improve sector management, and eliminate unhealthy competition in the industry, a society would be established.
