Kabul Municipality has begun the process of planting ornamental flowers in various areas of the city to enhance its beauty and freshness.
According to a report from Kabul Municipality, the Department of Greenery, in addition to planting various types of saplings, is also planting roses, pine trees, seasonal flowers, and other ornamental plants throughout the city to contribute to the greenery and attractiveness of urban areas.
The head of the Greenery Department of Kabul Municipality stated that, alongside sapling planting, ornamental flowers are being placed in pots along Sultan Mahmood Ghaznavi Road (Lab-e-Jar), the Hangara intersection, the Golayi Park in the first district, and other prominent areas of the city. This initiative is ongoing.
He added that these flowers have been prepared by the nurseries of the Greenery Department and emphasized that citizens should cooperate with the municipality in preserving and maintaining the saplings and flowers so that together they can enjoy a green and beautiful city.
