The construction of Omari Township has begun in Gereshk District of Helmand Province.
The deputy governor of Helmand told a Bakhtar News Agency reporter that the project has started in the Dehmazang area of Gereshk district.
He stated that the township will be built on 650 acres of land and will accommodate around 3,000 families.
He noted that the township will include dozens of shops, a school, a madrasa, a mosque, a gymnasium, a health center, and other necessary facilities.
It is worth mentioning that with the start of this project, thousands of job opportunities will be created.
