Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says his country is striving to maintain good relations with Afghanistan.
Speaking at a military gathering in the Kakul region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sharif added that a clear message had been sent to the Islamic Emirate, stating: “Although we hope for peaceful relations with Kabul, this will not be possible as long as Afghan soil is used against Pakistan.”
The Islamic Emirate has also previously expressed hope for good relations with Pakistan and has stated that Afghanistan’s territory is not being used against any country.
