The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation has announced that on the 11th of Jawza (June 1), 12 Afghan refugees were released from Pakistani prisons and returned to Afghanistan.

According to the Spin Boldak border authority in Kandahar province, these Afghan refugees were arrested in various parts of Pakistan despite having legal documents, and they had been imprisoned for periods ranging from one to five days.

It is reported that after returning to the country, the Afghan nationals were registered and received humanitarian aid before being transferred to their respective regions.
