A joint economic forum hosted by the Iranian Embassy in Kabul brought together more than 200 Afghan and Iranian businesspeople, industrialists, and investors. During the event, participants discussed ways to expand economic and trade cooperation between the two countries and exchanged views on strengthening bilateral commercial ties.
According to the Iranian Embassy, economic representatives from Afghanistan and Iran held specialized meetings and discussions in the fields of construction industries, pharmaceuticals, laboratory equipment, food processing, battery manufacturing, as well as technical and engineering services.
The forum was organized to strengthen cooperation between the private sectors of Afghanistan and Iran. At the conclusion of the event, three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between companies from the two countries.
