A big meeting was organized by the General Directorate of Panj Amo river basin in Kunduz province, during which 10 Mirab Bashians were selected for ten canals in Khanabad and Gultpe districts, including Kunduz.

In the beginning, Maulvi Sahib Abdul Hakim Haji Hikmat, Director General of Panj Amo River Basin, said that fortunately, this process has been completed in some districts according to the procedure of the Ministry of Water and Energy. In the presence of local officials and hundreds of residents of the Amo River basin, 10 Mirab Bashians were selected for ten canals in Khanabad and Gultpe districts, including the center of Kunduz.

He added that these Mirab Bashians were elected by the farmers, that each Mirab Bashi will serve the people, especially the farmers, for 3 years according to the procedure.
According to him, according to the mentioned procedure, 39 Mirab Bashians, who have more than 150 members with them, were selected for 39 channels at the level of Kunduz, and this series ended successfully.

It is worth mentioning that 1020 representatives of farmers for 9 districts, including Kunduz, elected 39 Mirab Bashians and 150 members for 39 general canals, and this process ended in Kunduz province.
