The Askarabad Bridge in Farah, built with a financial contribution of over 5 million Afghanis from a national businessman, has been completed and officially inaugurated.
According to a Bakhtar News Agency reporter, the mayor of Farah stated during the inauguration ceremony that the Askarabad Bridge was constructed with 5.5 million Afghanis funded by Haji Habibullah Noorzai, a national businessman.
He added that the bridge, measuring 30 meters in length and 24 meters in width, was completed within a year. It will serve not only the highway but also residents of five districts.
During the ceremony, the governor of Farah emphasized the crucial role of citizens and national businessmen in the country’s construction and development projects. He urged all citizens to actively participate in the progress and prosperity of Afghanistan.
Additionally, the governor of Kabul highlighted the importance of youth and business community involvement in strengthening national institutions. He stated that the people of Farah and national businessmen have contributed not only to the reconstruction and development of the country but also played a significant role in the sacred struggle against occupiers.
Haji Habibullah Noorzai, the national businessman who funded the project, reaffirmed his commitment to supporting future development projects. He also encouraged other investors and businessmen to contribute to the reconstruction and development of Afghanistan.
