Yemeni officials have announced that the United States has carried out more than 70 airstrikes on various parts of the country.
According to Yemen’s Al-Masirah news network, the U.S. conducted 72 airstrikes yesterday on multiple locations, including the capital, Sanaa.
Reports indicate that the attacks resulted in one death and several injuries.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that the strikes targeted Houthi bases in Yemen.
Two weeks ago, U.S. President Donald Trump ordered large-scale attacks against the Houthis in response to their assaults on American and Israeli commercial ships.
