The German army has announced the formation of a new division to defend the territorial integrity of the country.
Reuters has reported that this division will begin its operations in April of this year.
As NATO reaches its highest level of readiness since the Cold War, some officials of the alliance, including the German Defense Minister, have warned that there is a possibility of a Russian attack on NATO borders within the next four years.
