A four-day calligraphy exhibition titled “Nasim-e Mehr” has been inaugurated in Herat to support local artists.
Jalil Ahmad Tawanah, head of the Herat Calligraphers Association, stated that 60 artistic pieces are being showcased at the exhibition.
Hamidullah Ghayasi, head of Culture and Arts at the Herat Department of Information and Culture, mentioned that their department is working to promote the art of calligraphy and support artists in the region.
Over the past three years, several small and large exhibitions have been held in Herat to support local artists.
