Mawlavi Abdul Hakim Haji Hekmat, the general director of Panj Amo of Kunduz province, says that today in this province, with the cooperation of the General Directorate of Panj Amu region and with the financial expenses of DI organization of Chardari district from Shaghasi village to Panja e bala. The cleaning of one canal has been started with 70 kilometers length.
Mr. Haji Hekmat increases; the cleaning of the canal which is located in Chardara district has been started with the financial expenses of DI organization and the general administration of Panj Amo region with the beginning of this project in Yadai district. 430 unemployed people got job opportunities.
Also, the residents of Chardara district are happy with the beginning of this and are adding that this canal was already full and will solve the problems of the people.
It is worth reminding that this 70 kilometer canal which stretches from Shaghasi bala to Panja village of Chardra district destroys 130000 acres of land.
