As a result of the explosion on Saturday (February 17) in a fireworks factory in India, 10 people were killed and 15 others were injured.

Firoz Khan Abdullah, an Indian police officer, told AFP that the cause of the explosion in the Tamil Nadu region was a fire in the factory, but the cause of the fire, which was contained in the early moments, is still unknown.

Such accidents are a common issue in factories across India as most of the owners do not pay attention to safety rules.

Last Friday in the city of New Delhi, the capital of India, 11 workers were killed as a result of a severe fire followed by an explosion in a paint factory.
