Mr. Adhas started singing on the stage for the first time in 1980 and became famous in 1986 with the song “Chitti Ai Hai Watan Si”.

In his several decades of musical activity, he has won several prestigious international and national awards.

In 2006, the government of India gave Pankaj Adhas the most prestigious art award called “Padmashiri”.
