Habibullah Masrour, the spokesman of the governor of Sarpol, told TOLOnews that as a result of heavy rains and floods in Kohistanat district of Sarpol, hundreds of acres of agricultural land, 20 residential houses, bridges, culverts, dams and shops were destroyed and dozens of livestock were destroyed.
According to Mr. Masrour, this statistic is preliminary and it is possible that the damages caused by floods will increase.
