Dr. Mohammadullah Hekmat, head of public health in Kunduz, says that this national campaign will be launched today on 13 June with the presence of officials and representatives of the Department of Information and Culture, Guidance, Hajj and Awqaf, diocese and provincial officials of the World Health Organization, UNICEF, BPHS program implementers and partner institutions in Kunduz province will be officially opened and will continue for four days.
He adds that this campaign for children from one day to five years of age will be officially started at the level of 34 provinces of the country tomorrow, Monday, 14th of Gemini, and will be implemented for eligible children.
While appreciating the national and international institutions, the officials of the seminary hospital and the various departments of this directorate in opening and starting the polio vaccine campaign, he asked the people of the northeastern provinces, especially the residents of Kunduz province, to cooperate in the successful implementation of the said campaign.
