The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation of Afghanistan has announced that more than 3,000 Afghan migrants have voluntarily and forcibly returned from Iran and over 1,000 others from Pakistan to the country.
The ministry stated in a message on its social media platform X that these migrants entered the country via the Spin Boldak border on Tuesday and Wednesday and through the Torghundi imaginary line and the Silk Bridge in Nimroz province.
According to the Border Affairs Office of Nimroz Province, 1,503 returnees, including families and single individuals, have been referred to the International Organization for Migration for food and non-food assistance.
