The World Health Organization (WHO) has reported that after the recent earthquake in eastern Afghanistan, aftershocks are still ongoing. According to the organization, around 84,000 people have been affected in Kunar, Nangarhar, Laghman, and Nuristan provinces, with nearly 3,000 killed and about 4,000 injured. WHO added that 16 health facilities in these provinces have been damaged, including severe damage to the Chawkay District Hospital in Kunar and the Nurgal Health Center.
